A Pinoy Blog About Nothing: How To: Cross Post to Multiply, Blogger, and Vox

I've been testing the cross-posting workaround I found for about a week. The idea is, you compose just one post and you can replicate it on any number of your other blogging accounts. These days, people would have multiple social networking accounts (Facebook, MySpace, Multiply, Friendster etc.) and frankly it's a pain to logging in and out of different accounts with essentially the same people on your network saying the exact same things.

"Why bother?", you might ask. Because these days 'googling yourself' isn't just a dirty word any more. Employers and co-workers have steadily relied on the web to find out more about people they encounter. Your online reputation becomes as important as your reputation 'IRL' (in real life). Leaving your brand (your name, or your domain) untended in these social networking sites could be a Bad Idea - someone could use your name or your brand to post something against what you're s...

A Pinoy Blog About Nothing: Cross Post 7

This is a test of the cross-posting system. Two things should have happened: this appears on clickmomukhamo.com and a few seconds later, it would also appear on my Multiply page. Why am I doing this? Because if I don't, someone else will.

Trailers: Iron Man

I'll be pimping this movie till next year. No I don't own stock in Marvel (I wish) and I'm not a huge fan of the character but I am fan of well-made movies and well-told stories. Jon Favreau's a big fan of the comic books and it's obvious he's taken great care in doing this movie. Check out the trailer and I dare you not to pump your fist in the air once *THAT* riff from that rock song heralds the reveal of Iron Man.

This is also Marvel's first production as a movie studio. In all their wisdom, they didn't any want any more interference from studio executives who didn't have a clue what the characters are about so they went ahead and set-up their own shop. I say more power to them.

Robert Downey Jr wears the suit (ahem) of Tony Stark well. Can't wait for Terrence Howard to become War Machine. And Jeff Bridges as the baddie Obadiah Stane? Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury? Great casting all over. I'm having geek-asms.
